A PERSONAL BLOG · SINGAPORE · CHIN SWEE ROAD

Daylight stories from the Chin Swee edge — told while the terrace is still warm.

I am Noah. I live near Seng Poh Road and write first-person pieces about morning kopi, market bags, corridor plants, and the small human moments that happen between blocks.

ChinStories is a personal site — not a magazine, not a tour service, not a brand. I write about Tiong Bahru mornings, Seng Poh corridors, bus-stop kindnesses, and the wet-market logic Auntie Leng taught me for choosing mangoes. The tone stays daylight: warm, specific, unhurried.

If you have time, start with the journal archive or the main article below. If something rings true — or false — send a note. I answer every message myself.

The posts are short essays — market mornings, bus-stop moments, corridor rituals — each photographed, each dated, each written in first person. No sponsors, no funnels, no calls to buy anything. Just stories from a terrace that faces Chin Swee and Tiong Bahru and the ordinary life between them.

Who writes here

Not a publication — just me, typing stories after breakfast while the tiles are still warm from the sun.

ChinStories grew from corridor conversations and market mornings I did not want to forget. Each post is one person's view of Seng Poh, Tiong Bahru, and the Chin Swee edge — written slowly, photographed honestly, shared without agenda.
